The AI That will resize your brands image for EVERY media platform

corybrodeur

Having to manually resize your brands image to fit properly on all media sites is tedious at best, mind-numbingly exhausting at worst! So, why not take advantage of the progress of technology and have a computer do it?

PixelHunter.io is the website made just for this. It is completely free to use and you don’t have to worry about pesky watermarks. You simply have to drag and drop your desired image and it will crop it to the proper size for the proper platform.

The Pro’s

As stated before it can take as little as 10 seconds for you to drop your image and download all the cropped images. It supports 102 different sizes, saving you the laborious task of having to export your image numerous times for the same results.

While some platforms are a lot more helpful, letting you position and crop your photo, others take what you give it and adjusts it itself leaving you with an off centered photo that looks sloppy and of poor quality. By using this website, the image downloaded is the image reflected when you upload it, saving the annoyance of the back and forth trying to fix the mistake of the platform.

The Con’s

While it is a really handy tool, it’s not a miracle maker. The website doesn’t allow you to adjust the cropped image. For some of the formats, I found it would be nice if you could move the image up or down to get the alignment right, yet there is no such option.

You’re also most likely going to need different images for your profile picture and banner. It doesn’t squash or stretch your image, but it takes a particular area and trims the rest.

The Wrap up

While I would love to say more about this helpful tool, it is a very simple idea brought to life. With a Facebook profile being 851 X 315 Pixels and a YouTube profile picture being 800 X 800 Pixels, This site makes it a one stop shop if you don’t want to have to fret about micro-touching images for them to look the same across all platforms.

It’s free, it’s intuitive, and hopefully it can save you a little time.
